| While the outside appearance of the Palacio de Samaniego is impressively stately, standing in charming little square, the interior is no less enchanting, lovingly decorated in every detail by its owners who welcome us with an outpouring of attentiveness when we cross the threshold of the Palacio. The propertys 11 rooms feature all the regular facilities such as central heating, telephone and television, and enormous trouble has been taken with the décor, using wood and brightly coloured patterns that imbue the rooms with a lovely ambience while retaining a simplicity that shuns the superfluous. Its quality and efficiency having been recognised with two stars, the hotel not only boasts optimum resources for relaxation but also has three dining rooms for private meetings. The luminous main dining room is notable, beautifully decorated with round tables to encourage postprandial lingering and giving us the perfect excuse to savour the delicious cuisine which is personally supervised by chef and manager Jon Ugalde. |
